RIP- Ricardo Montalban

I am just sad to say that Ricardo is gone. I
loooooved Fantasy Island as a child. Wasn't it the best? It was simultaneously scary and fun all at once. Welcome to the Island! Tropical fabulousness? You never met your Father and you feel your life would have been so much better? Well, you're going to meet him! Only catch is he's a scary drunk who hates everyone. Enjoy!

Welcome! Here's a drink! How was the hydroplane? You're a teacher but always wanted to be a rockette? Well now's your chance! Only now you sprain your ankle and the girls all hate you because you're too pretty. Enjoy!

That was the thing about Fantasy Island. The grass was not greener on the other side. Good lesson for all of us! I'll miss you Ricardo!

I loved Fantasy Island too! Saturday nights were the best, Love Boat and then Fantasy Island. I was sorry to hear he had passed away.

Ahhh, Friday nights.

A little Love Boat, then Fantasy Island. What a life we led as kids!

I loved that show! That was the only night I was allowed to stay up late. I always felt like it was such a "grown-up" show.

I also had no idea. I loved that show. "But Boss" (I can still hear Tatoo saying that)...

As my mom keeps saying lately.."They're all dropping like flies."

That show was fun but also a little creepy. I have no idea why my parents let me watch it but then again they let me watch MASH too which was the most depressing show ever, even to a four year old.

I loved FI! Like some of the others, we made it a family night of tv with The Love Boat and FI. They were often a little creepy, but had a moral to each and every story.
