Fabulous Find- Weight Watchers and Exercise-What a concept!

After giving birth to my baby boy, and dealing with in vitro, I gained a little weight. Add to that, the fact that I was gaining a little every year. Soon I was saying goodbye to clothing sizes in the single digits! My friend Alyssa told me Weight Watchers is the only thing that really works and guess what? She's right!

Weight Watchers makes you successful because it doesn't tell you NOT to eat something, just how much of it you can! I love the points system. You cannot defy math when you're trying to lose weight! If you have 22 points to use in the day, and three points left, do you want a glass of wine? Piece of bread? Small (small, small) scoop of ice cream? You choose. I started it again in December and have lost about 10 pounds. I even did pretty well over the holidays!

The other thing is exercise. I would go to the gym and then complain that I wasn't losing weight. This was because my portions were out of control with my eating (hello even healthy stuff is fattening if you eat enough of it!), and I wasn't intense enough in my workouts. Have you seen The Biggest Loser? You should watch so that you can really see what it takes to lose weight. You have to SWEAT! I mean seriously push yourself as if a trainer is yelling in your face. That's when you get results. I will be back in the gym as of this weekend sweating it out. At least I now know what makes me lose weight. It's so great to take back control of my body! Fabulous!

Good for you! Congratulations on all the hard work!

I swear by WW as well. For losing and maintaining. I think that diets are set up for people to fail! WW is a lifestyle that you can use for a lifetime! I'm counting my points as we speak!

I want to take back control of my body, too. I lost control about, oh, 9 yrs agos when I started having HUGE baby boys.(10 and 11lbs.,my love of chips and dip, wine, food in general doesn't help either...yikes) WW sounds like a great choice. You may have inspired me...

WW online is awesome. Before we had to go back to our college yell squad reunion (yeah, like those are the LAST people in the world I wanted to see me fat!) I did it for less than 4 months and lost about 30 lbs.

I don't like people telling me what to do, and the group meetings do absolutely nothing for me, so online was perfect.

Oh yeah, need to sign up again....I loves me some wine, cheese, desserts...I could go on...and on!

I'm already feeling better! Is it bad that I want to use all my flex points on wine?
