Halloween Recap!

Although I was laid up on Halloween and certainly could not enjoy it the way I wanted, hubby managed to hold down the fort. We carved pumpkins the night before but my neighbor Meredith had the best idea of Mr. Pumpkin potato head! Let's face it Landon is NOT carving a pumpkin but he loved this!!:

We of course carved our pumpkins after he went to bed!!

As for Landon, he was Bob the Builder and went to a few houses to trick or treat.

At our place, 100 trick or treaters came by, very cute! One highlight was a one and a half year old "surgeon" with chocolate all over his sleeves.

Hubby answered the door with Landon and Shelby the dog saying: "Do you like our cat? She's dressed in a dog costume!" He's too funny.

While in bed I caught a Martha Stewart Halloween special where she featured the cutest things!!!
Tombstone cupcakes...
Ice in the shape of hands in a punch bowl..
Pumpkins carved like haunted houses...
and..
A pumpkin serpent!!!

I am so doing this next year!!!!!

what a cute photo of Landon! it's so much fun to watch kids grow into Halloween each year. Last year B did NOT want to get dressed up... he cried a bit, but then he learned about the CANDY and he was sold. This year he was super excited for Halloween.

Mr. Landon looks adorable in his costume! I am thinking we may have to do the serpent pumpkin next year, how cool is that. Now I gotta go find the tombstone cupcake recipe, thanks for the heads up. Hope things are going well.

Landon looks adorable! I sure do miss those "Bob the Builder" days. sigh. I hope you're feeling better and up and about. Keep us updated. Still thinking of you and sweet~baby.
I did the frozen hands for the boy's school parties. I even put some creepy crawlies down in the glove before freezing. I floated them around in "Blood Punch". (hawaiin punch and sprite) They loved it. The serpent is fantastic. Maybe next year...

Have a great day!
