Not So Fabulous- Calgon Take Me Away!

Oh bloggy girls I am having a rough week. One of those weeks when you just keep asking "can I get a break here?". When that break doesn't come you just feel dead. That's where I'm at. I am back and forth wondering if I will post this. I feel like Kikibee, but she was brave so I'll be too.

I count myself to be a very positive person, but even I could not really even bring myself to be happy today, no matter what happened. Made me feel weird to be out in the world, all vulnerable and not knowing what I would say because I had lost my ability to fake the nice stuff.

A lot is going on, some medical stuff with me and Landon (I'll post later this week), finances are not good, managed to Break? my toe while running to the bathroom last week from stomach flu, and then the kicker, Landon gets it. Throwing up all weekend poor thing. Could not even keep a teaspoon of pedialite down.

Then I get a call that my grandma's in the hospital with a hurt back, my sisters having major issues she's dealing with, holy moly Calgon take me away.

I swear I have been battling through health insurance rejections, red tape with Landon's medical bills, and nothing going the way I want.

My pastor says it's not that God doesn't give you more than you can handle...he doesn't give you more than HE CAN HANDLE. I think this is true.

Bare with me. I won't be like this forever. I know myself too well for that. Not much can keep me down.

Just to prove it here's the old Calgon commercial!

I'm so sorry about your week.
Me too! I had a horrible time staying positive and upbeat this past week. Just published a whiney post that I hated to write, but I had to get it out there. I hope Landon is feeling better and your toe heals quickly. Ouch! I'll be sending good thoughts and prayers your way for a better week!

Sometimes it is too much too handle and that is why God gives us good friends to lean on, to lift us up and encourage us. I have walked through a valley and just being able to say you're in that place sometimes helps us find our way out.

If you can't find your way, don't be afraid to ask for help...we're here for you. He is a perfect shelter in a a storm....all the best to you tonight my friend.

Hang-in there! Things can only get better...right? It;s so hard to stay positive when everything seems to be falling part (I have SO much trouble with this). I'm thinking of you!

I'm sorry you're having a rough time. But, it' true that this too shall pass. It always seems like to much, and then one day you look back and you've passed through it.

Love that saying from your pastor! I was thinking last night (as the two kids were awake and upset at 1 am) that maybe if we get through the early years in one piece and forge great relationships with our kids, the teen years won't be so bad? I know that was the case with my parents;)

I say that all the time too, "Calgon, take me away!"

Hang in there! Your blogger pals are here for you--we're good at listening, so dump it out when you're ready and if you feel it will help. You and your family are in my thoughts.

You need some retail therapy! OK, I did read the finance part of your post...but even a new lip gloss from Target can make me feel better when I get the blues! Hey, it is cheaper than therapy right??? Just don't ask my husband that question! Hope you are feeling better soon!

I am soooo sorry you are having such a tough week. I really love the saying that your pastor relayed to you. I think it's true too. Try and focus on that beautiful boy of yours and your handsome husband...you are one lucky lady...and obviously "One Fabulous Mom"! I know this is so cliche but this too will pass. I hope you are getting some balmy weather out there...maybe you can relax with a Summer Sassy tonight? Sending warm thoughts your way!

I'm sorry, OFM. I especially hate to hear of medical/health problems because those are the worst. Our health is the most important thing and other problems are usually inconveniences by comparison. I'll keep you in my thoughts.

A friend of mine was very sick. She and her husband used to hear the "God doesn't give you more than you can handle" quote alot. She used to say.."I wish God didn't have so much faith in me!"

I'm sorry you are having such a rough week. Hang in there. As you know, life has it's ups and downs and you are due for some better days SOON!

I am sorry to hear of your woes. There really isn't much I can say or do to make it better except that I am here if you need me. {{HUGS}} to you dear friend. The world will make right soon enough. Just continue to look for answers from above and all will be well:)

So sorry to hear about all that is going on. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I know it doesn't make it any easier but like I've been told many times in my life, this too shall pass. Happier days are ahead! You are a positive person and we all have down times, it's God's way of making us appreciate all the good in our lives.

I am feeling the same way today. Maybe if we didn't feel the lows every once in a while we wouldn't know the JOY so well. I do hope you are on the mend and feeling better today.
