Girl Party Week! Dressed to Kill

Now that the flood gates are open and I get to live out my fantasies of dressing a baby girl, we might as well get down to business. This little girl's middle name is going to be smocked dress!

I love everything at Orient Expressed, especially their Bishop dresses.

I also love Remember Nguyen. Dying over these jumpers!!!

So cute!!!

and this bubble in Pink and Green! I am just going to pass out.

But as I said before Lilly Pulitzer has a special place in my heart!!!

I also need to get her bow collection going asap!!!

Dressing a baby girl is the most fun!! Hard not to buy everything you see :) And on the bow thing - they are easy to make!! (Sometimes they can be quite expensive)

Just had to pass along Carousel Wear on ebay. My all time favorite for "stealing" smocked holiday dresses!

Adorable! And I say that with unabashed envy! I have two adorable nieces so they get the benefit of all my girly-buying impluses!

As the mother of four daughters - I am really happy for you!!!! When we were in Texas I lived around the corner from a neighbor that had two daughters - when I gave birth to my fourth daughter she gave me all her hand-me-downs - imported dresses from Sakowitz, Lord & Taylor, Saks, every boutique you could think of - many with the price tags still attached - April was the best dressed baby girl in Texas - I saved some of them they were so exquisite. You are going to have so much fun!!!

There is nothing better than Smocked dresses, Lilly P and bows. That sums up my daughter's wardrobe! It's such fun. I am so happy for you.

Yes indeed...you've got to get busy. I have to tell you though...dressing Legare was a breeze. He'd wear whatever I brought home. But Lorelai...I swear she had her own opinions from the moment I put on the precious little smocked dress to bring her home from the hospital. Her sense of style and mine don't always work well together.

I just got a catalog for a company called Kelly's Kids (kellyskids.com). They have the cutest monogram wear and smocked dresses. Very traditional--stuff you could pass on for years if you could ever stand to part with it. And you can host parties--like Tupperware but kids' clothes. How fun would that be??
