I have just returned from one week in the Outer Banks with all my bestie girls and their families. Twenty-three years of friendship with these fabulous women! It was glorious. We all relaxed and lived a beachy perfect life with this view!
Now I'm back to this:
Here's what's hard about when you really dial out. Your email piles up, bills pile up, laundry piles up, calls, errands, social obligations, school supply buying, are on the back burner and all come rushing back.
I'm trying to just slowly make my way through the fog. And trying to hold on to these moments forever.
Missing all my girls and the times we had.
More on the trip later!

Great pictures, seems like no one does it anymore but print out your favorite vacation pictures so that you're always reminded of the smiles and good times!
How great! Did you love the Outer Banks?
I a right there with you digging out. I did 5 loads of laundry yesterday. Then there is picking up the dog and the fish and the mail etc. Groceries! I hate reentry. Looks like a GREAT vacation though!!!
Try to stay in your relaxed state. order school supplies on Amazon while you sip a glass of wine at night, say NO to a social obligation or two, or send hubs with the kids so you can do the laundry in a peaceful house! Thanks so much for praying for our pup!
Oh man! That looks like a wonderful trip. Yes, I hate the reality of our nonvacation lives! I like the idea above to order school supplies on amazon!
