Back To School? Fall Wardrobe
It's back to school week (Landon starts next week), and I know some of you are SAD I mean HAPPY that school has started. Yes we would like the summer to NEVER END, but there is something magical about back to school time. Time to hunker down, get out the notebook, and start picking out your Halloween costume. (more on that soon!)
I wanted to know what everyone will be wearing for Fall. Keep in mind that until the TT (Tummy Tuck Dolls, still no word on when but it's looking like October), I am not spending another dime on clothes. I need to know what you guys will be donning for sheer jealousy.
Also, what are you most looking forward to for fall?
I am looking forward to candy apples, a new puffer vest from J Crew, Halloween costume made by Godmother for Miss Coco (sure to be brilliant!!!), and maybe some adorable fall shoes (those never change size!). Oh and a flat tummy (again with the TT).
Tell me darlings, what are you looking forward to for fall? And what will you be wearing?

So happy for you and TT! You are going to look FAB for all the Holiday parties I am sure you will be attending!
I am so excited to get back in my jeans and pumps that I can't stand it...here's hoping
like you, i love down vests! i also can't wait for cords!
I hear you on the clothes thing. I am working on losing all this baby weight and keep telling myself I am not going to buy anthing until I lose it. (Never works by the way). I am already wearing some ankle boots and a cashmere sweater today.
As for fall, I can't wait until our Disney trip in a coupld of weeks. I can't wait to see the little ones reactions.
Have a great day!
I'll be wearing lots of jeans (new favorite brands are Hudson and Joe's) and long sleeve T's with jackets and statement necklaces (aka J Crew). Also trying their cropped cargo pants with embellished heels and a hoodie. Will see if I can pull that one off - might be too old! ha!
I can't wait to wear tweed. Doesn't that make me sound so unfashionable? I am not sure why but I love it. I am also on a quest for the perfect brown boots! I love fall!
Love when I get the chance to wear my knee high boots!
Gosh, I haven't thought about it much since it is still 100+. We are going to N. Calif in a couple of weeks for a wedding so I know I can't look summery (or like a hillbilly) so I need to work on this. I'll add that to my list!
What I would like to get soon are some new cute jeans (preferably a size to 2 smaller than what I am in now!)- I always buy such basic things, I want something fun. I saw a cute popcorn knit sweater (remember those?) in the LL Bean catalog in a beautiful green & some cute matching flats that I am considering.
I am excited for your TT! It will be so worth it.
I have to get hopping on a Halloween costume for my daughter, too..
TT in October...that's great!
I am buying long sweater coats. I bought one last year from Boden and loved it. This year I bought one at Anthro and one at Lilly. Post to come shortly. It' son the to do list.
Perhaps I need to lose a few lbs and then I would feel comfortable on the rest of my wardrobe!
I can wait for the crisp fall weather and the leaves changing colors. I can wait for it to be cool enough to order a pumkin spice latte or make a pumpkin spice cappucino at home. I went on a shopping spree over the weekend and got three new cardigans, as well, as a pink fleece lined zip front hoodie, a fleece jacket, and a really cute new woolrich fall coat. Looking forward to wearing all my new items.
I'm most looking forward to the cooler weather and Vermont's gorgeous foliage. Also to spending time with my little guy one-on-one now that S is back in school too.
As for my wardrobe, sadly I will be wearing the same six or seven outfits until I lose the last 15 pounds of pregnancy weight.
I love homemade costumes! My mom has made several for the girls including a super cute bear costume for E's first Halloween and a pink and blue dinosaur costume the year she was four. (I think I posted that one.) Can't wait to see Coco's costume!
Last year my kids were a chef and a lobster. It was so fun. I hope to find a similar matching outfit for this Halloween. I figure I don't have too many years when they'll let me do that.
As for the fall wardrobe... no ideas, so I look forward to seeing what's out there.
Ruffles! It's all about ruffles for me this fall :)
Normally, I really hate to see summer end...but NOT this year! I actually pulled out my 1st fall purchase and jeans today...off to Friday night football!
