Holiday Five! My Five Favorite Christmas Cd's

If you look under my Fabulous Holiday's category and scroll down you will see my favorite Christmas movies, so this year I am doing my favorite Christmas CD's!!

Johnny Mathis, The Christmas Music of Johnny Mathis is too fabulous. What a velvety voice and I looove when he sings " A Marshmellow World!"

This next one may be hard to find but ladies and gents I love it!!! Pottery Barns Cool Christmas Volume 1.

Pearl Bailey's "5 pound box of money" is hysterical, but it's Eartha Kitt singing "Santa Baby" that will make you jump under the mistletoe!!

You may not know this about me but I looooooove gospel music. It just makes me feel good and gets me teary eyed! For that reason I also picked "Wow Gospel Christmas". It has Kirk Franklin and Donny Hathaway on it and baby that is good enough for me!

If you want a little party music Luther Vandross, This is Christmas, has the Mistletoe Jam "with lines like everybody kiss somebody" and I looove it!

Last but not least, because I am a big sap, Christmas with Perry Como. It's the best!

What's your favorite music? I am tagging you!

White Christmas by Bing Crosby and O Holy Night by Luciano Pavarotti (more suited for xmas eve). I also am a fan of the song "We need a little Christmas" but cannot remember the name of the group...something...Singers. We have a radio station that plays Christmas music 24/7 since Halloween so we tend to listen to that vs. Cds. Great choices on your list and will have to investigate.

You need to get Ray Charles's CD, The Spirit of Christmas. You'll love it!

I can't wait to try some of those too! Christmas is all about the music for me! Have you tried A Charlie Brown Christmas? Very jazzy and fun!

Have a great weekend!

I love listening to Christmas music...I have it playing in the house all the time now. I'm especially enjoying watching and listening to my kids learn and sing along to the songs. :)

I grew up listening to the Johnny Mathis album (yikes!) and still love his music! Favorite cds this year are Diana Krall and Michael Buble'! Love, love, love both of their crooning voices.

I like some of the country CD's--George Strait, Garth Brooks and Faith Hill.

David Bowie and Bing Crosby singing that Drummer Boy song....the differences, musically, between these two is bigger than the Grand Canyon yet their voices...together...magic. Christmas magic!!!

Hi. Wow, I can't believe I don't have or know any of your top 5! I've stopped listening to Christmas music already (decided Christmas doesn't exist this year!) but my favorites this year were Mary Chapin Carpenter - "Come Darkness, Come Light" (such a beautiful cd) and BarlowGirl - "Home For Christmas".

I tagged you on my blog to write about your holiday traditions. Check it out if you're interested.
