Slumdog Millionaire A Mom's Review!

Hubby and I got to see Slumdog Millionaire a few days ago. I have to say it's very clever and well done. The story surrounds two brothers living in poverty, trying to survive, and one ending up on the Indian version of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire". There are some heartbreaking moments in this film and it jumps back and forth from present to past A LOT. I did like it, but it's tough for me to see kids that poor and what they have to go through!

I am giving it 4 out of 5 cosmos, only because of tough subject matter! It really is Oscar worthy.

We saw this recently too. I really enjoyed it, but Jeff didn't think I did because I thought a lot of it was sad. It was hard seeing those poor kids in that lifestyle. Definitely my favorite out of the best picture nominees I've seen!

I LOVED it!

I saw it in Novemeber when it was out on limited release and have gone a few more times with different friends since then. Yes, it was hard to watch in many scenes but really good. I love the fact that the youngest actors used weren't actors but real slumdog kids and they are now being educated and have a trust fund, now that's a real life, feel good ending! :)
