Nursery Decorating in Pink and Green!

Coco is going to be one stylin' girl I tell ya. After searching high and low (and not wanting to pay as much as a car payment), I decided Pottery Barn Kids was the winner for her crib linens.

I chose the Penelope Pattern above. So cute with pink and green little birdies!!

I'm going to add on a pink gingham bedskirt and fitted sheet to change it up a little...

And this sweet Butterfly Mobile...

I am leaning more and more on keeping Landon's green (Coco is moving into his room) and just adding in my pink touches.

You remember Landon's safari themed room right?

now imagine it with the bedding, these pink shades...

and this rug....

and this chandelier!

I think it will be fabulous. I may even paint a few birdies on the wall and her monogram.

What do you think?

ooh, I LOVE it! I am thinking of adding a chandelier in my studio (really enjoying making it my girlie room) and am wondering where you found the one you have pictured? Thanks!
Definitely paint her monogram on the wall! ;)

I think it will look great! I love the Penelope set and had it for the longest time...sitting in the bag in the closet. I just returned it a few weeks ago and just last week bought something different that I love! lol I know I'll keep this set, but it's so hard to decide because there are so many I like.
Coco's room will look so pretty and I love your painting and monogram idea!

Love, love, love!!! Perfect with the green walls and gingham shades. Of course I vote for the monogram ,very chic for Coco. I just used the "emergency" credit card for baby girl's bedding. I had a moment of weakness and they were having a Valentine's weekend sale. Hotdogs for dinner this week LOL! I can pretty much justify anything like ...well I could blow that amount in 1 or 2 trips to Target , at least I will love this bedding for a few years (crib and then toddler bed?)I feel so much better now that I have confessed my sins ,thanks!:)

I love that bedding set. Your ideas are great. I think the green walls will look perfect. Sometimes, people can use too much pink when decorating and it overwhelms the room.

I love everything you've picked out! Coco is going to have a gorgeous room!

I had a pink and green room a couple years ago, and I did green walls with pink accents, and I love that way that looks!

I must say that I love your choice! I actually went with pink and green from PBK back in the fall of 2007 when my daughter was born. I even have the same mobile for her! Your room decor choices look fantastic! Good luck with putting it all together!

Oh that will be precious! The green is perfect with the bedding and then you can add a million different pink items without going overboard. If you had pink walls you'd have to be a bit more careful how much additional pink was placed inside. I love the chandelier!!!!
