Koo Koo Bear Kids Is The Worst Company EVER!

I ordered a step stool for Landon September 4th 2008. After hearing and seeing nothing (but you sure charged me!) I called several times. After being on hold forever I left a message. Then weeks later you tell me it's back ordered until December. FINE. Then I don't receive it. I call again and you UN APOLOGETICALLY tell me it's back ordered until end of January!

Hello? I ordered in September of 2008! I asked for compensation, a discount, another option? NOTHING. You were rude and asked me what I expected!!!!!???

Let me tell you what I expect. I expect my order to be shipped to my door in a timely fashion. I expect your customer service to be kind and cooperative. I expect you to care if my order is late. I expect and apology at the least. I got NOTHING. I hang up pissed but whatever I am getting this stool. I asked you to get back to me about a discount. OF COURSE I HEARD NOTHING BACK.

I got a call last week the stool is back ordered until April. I canceled the order and the person helping me didn't ask why or try to help me. TYPICAL.

I will tell everyone I know not to order from you. In this economy you'd think you'd want some business!

UPDATE: Got my refund but I will never buy from them again!

Don't you hate companies like this? First off in this economy those people should be glad they have a job and the employers should make sure the customer service (I use the term loosely) people are nice to the customer to try to keep people buying from them when nobody is buying anything at all.
I hope KooKooBearsKids does something for you but at this point would you even take it? MB

Wow. That is unbelievable! I'm glad you cancelled the order! They don't deserve your business and I'm shocked that a company has customer service that sucks so bad!

Oh I hear you! CWD was the same way with me. I ordered 3 dressses and shirt for the fam to wear on Thanksgiving,thus providing a Christmas card photo...NO! I ordered the first week of Sept. They charged me that day . # days before Thanksgiving I call and they say it is backordered until January. I ask why no one bothered to call or email and she said "well do you want to cancel the order or wait lady?" Lady!!!?? Needless to say I canceled and would never order from them again. What happened to customer service? How long will it take for them to credit you back for the stool? AAHHH , I feel better for venting, thanks :)

Snap snap! I am a firm believer in buying from places that treat their customers with respect and concern, even if it cost a little more. I will do without something else to ensure I keep my dollar with companies that value people. Now if only I had a choice other than Wal-mart within 70 miles from my home I would be GREAT! That place makes me NUTS. I buy as much as I can online.

That stinks! I'd write a letter to Tara Mediate (owner of the company)@ 23 Oak Street, Roswell, GA 30075 or call 404-446-1236 and let her know of their loss of an order and a customer. I know with larger companies they will try to correct the issue, even send you free merchandise. With this being a smaller company they may not, but you'd think they'd try to keep every order and customer they could in this economy.

The website also says it was Tara's life long dream to create a delightful shopping experience for consumers. I'd note that in your letter or call.

Wow, I am so glad I saw your post today because I was seriously thinking about ordering some room and desk accessories for my son's bedroom from KooKoo Bear. I didn't really need the items but I was thinking about changing a few things in his room to change it up a bit. Not now after reading about their custoemr service. Thanks for saving me some money.

Wow, that's awful customer service!

I ordered a custom hand painted ceramic cross from them as a gift about three years ago and it took 2months to receive it.

That type of customer non-service drives me nuts! Someone should start a blog listing all of these companies! That would teach them!

I recommended this co before but never again. I ordered over 1000 worth of decor for the baby's nursery. I had a problem with a damaged lamp and had to return it twice. I had to fight to get refunded and caught the very same attitude from the sales people. I am still waiting on a painting that I ordered months ago. I received a damaged shelf too and did not even try to return it. I will never order anything from them again or recommend them. Sorry you had the same experience. :(
