Update Week- Sex and The City!!!!

Oh my fabulousity. Holy Moly. The Sex and TheCity movie was the best thing I have experienced in all my days. First of all I am a die hard fan. My expectations were HIGH. Even with that, Sex and the City was better than I could have dreamed of. BRING YOUR TISSUE BOX! It is a tear jerker for sure. I think I have only cried more watching THE NOTEBOOK.

I don't want to give away all the plot points but let me just say you must go. AND you must go with girlfriends. I went with three fabulous girls, Suz, Alana, and Monique, who have all known each other for a long time and let me tag along. They were so fun. Suz and I were BAWLING. We could barely get a hold of ourselves.

Later at brunch here, we hashed out what it all meant. Dating, marriage, relationships, etc. Alana was mad at Mr. Big. She was not satisfied with the ending. We shared stories, talked about deep dark stuff, and had the best "girlie" day pf my life.

The most amazing thing though, was showing up at the 10:10am showing. I sat there and watched group after group of girlfriends arrive, dressed to the nines. To see the whole movie theater packed with fabulous women just made my heart sing. Now THAT IS FABULOUS!!!!

I saw it Friday night with my 3 best friends. We had a blast. We went out for dinner first and ordered a round of Cosmos and the waiter said, "You're going to see the SATC movie, right?" The movie theatre was jammed with women in stilettos and we all cheered when the previews ended.

I'm not gonna lie, I was a teeny tiny disappointed in the movie. I LOVED it and enjoyed the whole experience. Without giving away too much, I really disliked how much screen time was given to Louise and Carrie's relationship. Um, we don't care about Louise!!! I also didn't like that Big wasn't in half the movie. Boo hiss. In any case, I did like it and was so happy to see Charlotte again. I love her.

OK..here is my confession - I have never, never watched SATC! Yes, I know I shall be shunned from girldom from ever (hanging my head in shame).

I went Friday night with a bunch of friends and went out for cosmos after. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the movie, even from the 5th row. The girls planned ahead with the ticket purchase but didn't really think we should be there early for seats. Still great and a fun evening!

A bunch of my girlfriends went Saturday and I had to miss out b/c it was DD's birthday!!! So, now I have convinced my husband to go with me-and he actually said he wants to see it, so oh well! Won't be the same as watching it with the girls, but at least I will get to see it. Sounds like you had a blast!!!

Don't feel bad Bell-ah I have never watched it either. But I want to go any way. Was supposed to go last Friday night with a group of girlfriends but could not get a sitter - story of my life! I was so depressed. But another group is going next week, so I hope that is my chance. Very excited.

I am glad you enjoyed the movie as much as I did. It was so great to go with all my girlfriends to this movie, too, because it really reinforced how important friendship is! I was so impressed with the plot of the movie, and of course, with the ending as well. It was certainly a great roller coaster ride!

I was expecting to cry. However, I did a lot. I read somewhere that there were talks about doing a 2nd movie.
