Life Around These Parts...

Life in the Fabulous household has gone a little topsy turvey since my part time nanny (only 2 days a week kids), went and became a thief. I did find a replacement and she is so sweet. The kids still have not even asked for the other nanny, strange!

I had gotten into such a nice and smooth routine with my old nanny, I am just trying to keep up with it all now. I joked with my girlfriends yesterday, "she may have robbed my blind but boy did she keep my house clean." No, I am not taking her back!

The "out laws" are flying in today for Grandparents day at school. We will be celebrating both their birthdays with lots of red meat I am sure!

Other than that I am dying for a vacation (right now the closest is hubby and I at the La Brea Tar Pits! LOL). With two fundraisers I am working on, school tours, and starting a business (you can learn more here: The Social Media Gals). I am tiiiiiired. The only thing keeping me going right now is God and iced tea.

And that's life around these parts...how's life on your end? Catch me up!

I am so sorry to hear about your nanny, and I am sure it is a strange feeling to miss her after everything! Maybe a "staycation" is in your future? Take care!

Glad things are well, even if they are pretty hectic!

So sorry to hear about your nanny. We had the same thing happen with our cleaning crew. I'm so with you in needing a vacation. I think Florida is calling my name...sand running through my toes, warm weather, feeling the rays of warmth on my face as I lie in a nice beach chair and not having to get up at the crack of dawn. Yep, I need a vacation.

Good luck with the new business.

I am with you on needing a vacation, although something tells me that with a newborn coming in April it will be awhile before I get mine. I love that picture - you look fabulous!!

You had your nanny clean? I had a nanny for the kids and a separate lady come to clean. Maybe she was resentful? Still no excuse though. Your kids would have missed her if she was interacting with them more. So . . maybe all's well that ends well!

Glad you were able to find a new nanny. It's crazy busy here, too. I thought this morning, 'how can it possibly be Friday already?' I am not sure where the rest of the week went!

I'm right there with you on a vacation. My hubby and I are going to be able to get away for one night soon (work for him, spa for me!) Can't wait. Hope you getaway soon too.

Your new business sounds great!! I'll pass your info along to anyone I come across who may need your help. :)
