Oscar Snoozefest- But yeah women!!!!

Good Golly were the Oscars boring. I had high hopes with Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin hosting. They were funny, but even they couldn't save this boring show! You'd think after 82 years they would know how to entertain us! Even the stars looked bored!

At least we can talk about the dresses. These are the ones I loved:

The ones I thought were a big miss:

Best of all though (other than seeing the Brat Packers again), was Kathryn Bigelow's win for Best Director. The first woman to win. I am so thrilled. Makes it easier when I win!!!

PS GO SANDY B!!!

OMG The show was dreadful!
I actually changed the channel at 9pm to watch Big Love and came back at 10pm - I cant believe it went on for another 2 hour!!!!

I agree with your take on the dresses! I'm not sure what look Miley was going for there. The bottom of the dress is fine, but who could see past that bustier top? I thought her co-presenter, Amanda Seyfried, looked much more elegant and appropriate.

I was so happy that Sandra Bullock won! Her acceptance speech was great & her husband was total eye candy :)

Totally agree..... Loved that Sandy won, but I was surprised. Thought the academy voters would go with another pick. And Miley??? Um, hello. The child is 17. Don't wear a bustier girl! *mother of 6th grade daughter shaking her head*

We don't watch due to the boredom factor. I do love seeing what everyone wears. I like the same ones you did -especially Sandra Bullock's & the navy blue one (I don't know who was wearing it). I was really disappointed in Maggie G's. What was she thinking?

I was uncomfortable when they panned the audience...they looked so bored! Someone tell Miley to stand up straight and put her shoulders back!

What are you going to wear when it's your turn? Perhaps you should wear red since it looks so great on you!

I still want to know why George Clooney looked soooo mad!

Sandra looked amazing! I also thought Meryl look fantastic. SJP's dress was just odd and she looked too thin in it.

You're right, the show felt interminably long, but it's worth it to see the dresses! I was happy for Sandra B, too.

I agree with this post 100%. {Miley needs to work on her posture, too. And her mom is nuts, I do believe}. xoxo

I too am wondering, what will you wear when you win?

One day OFM....you will surely be up there...only a matter of time, I can feel it!!!

What would your fantasy dress be? How would YOU wear YOUR hair? How would you spend the day getting ready? I dream about this sometimes! Do you?

I did Oscar Fashion on my blog too. Great minds think alike! I agree the awards were indeed a snooze fest. I think we have similar taste in dresses but I hated the color of Demi's because I thought it blended with her fake tan = FASHION FAIL.

I agree..........long and boring. But, it's always fun to see what everyone wears. Did you see Miley Cyrus's Mom? Holy cow....now THAT was a big miss. Scary.

Warm blessings,
