Things You Should Know By Now- Dealing With Fear

I can be a worrier. I know. Me? One Fabulous Mom? Fearful? Oh yes darlings. I can work myself into a tizzy over Landon's well being, Coco's weight (my lady is skinny!), finances, or just going to a restaurant by myself!

My basic "facing the fear" plan comes in two forms. Either I just jump in anyway, or I procrastinate, talk myself out of it and avoid it.

I thought I'd research how to get over some of my rational and irrational fears. Time to be forty and fearless!

1) Only one thing can really threaten you, your doubt about your own power and lovability.

2) When you trust and accept there are things you cannot control, fears tend to lose their power.

3) Fearlessness requires attention. Don't get swept up in a moment. Remind mindful and open.

4) Ask yourself how you can benefit from the experience, no matter how scary. What will it teach you?

5) When fear can't be avoided, it's how you react that counts.

How do you face your fears?

I have come to understand that I am more fearful than most. It's hard wired. So I have to be braver, or stay home. All I can say is just coming to accept the basic makeup.

I love your new header! What a great looking family. As far as fears go, I pretty much try and face mine head on. I think overall I do pretty well with not letting fear hold me back.

Ah, fear. I think you hit the nail on the head when you mentioned that fear especially gets the best of you when there are certain things you can't control...and for me, I am even fearful when I have something exciting coming up - just because I am afraid something is going to go wrong. But I guess the best advice is go into something knowing that things are going to go wrong, but when you end up on the other side, you will be happier and stronger. And when all else fails, make sure you have someone's hand to hold. I hope all of that makes sense...I know I tend to ramble!

I wasn't much of a fearful person until I had kids. Now I am afraid of everything. Funny what responsibility does to you! I love your new picture :)

Being a parent has made it a lot easier to face my personal fears, however now I'm afraid of anything and everything that might harm the dude.

I can be a worrier if I let myself but have tried to work on "quieting" the mind. It works!

Prayer! I have to give my son back to his Creator-God almost every moment. I know God intended William to be here and that he has a purpose, and that his purpose will be fulfilled no matter what I worry about (or how much I worry about it).

I can be a worrier but darn if I'm not going to try to jump right in and push right through things. Except snakes...I leave snakes alone. And blood...I don't do blood...or hospitals. OK...so actually, I tend to live in denial and avoid the things that I'm frightened of at all costs. BUT when confronted...oh shoot...I just do my best.

The one thing I loved about entering my forties was that fearlessness kind of came with it! Suddenly, I just stopped worrying about things, and just went out into the world with my supergirl cape on! I really decided that I wanted to live life at least trying and not hiding!

Нi there this іs somewhat οf off tοpic but ӏ was wondering if blogs use WYSIWҮG editοrs or if you have to manuаlly code with ΗTML.
I'm starting a blog soon but have no coding expertise so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!
