Big Girls Don't Cry!

Coco was measuring along like a good little girl. Right on track for my due date but last Friday Bam! She is now 2 weeks ahead!!! I knew it I tell ya....my belly is huge and I knew she had to be big!

I thought it was due to my gestational diabetes but she is big all around and perfectly proportioned! That means she is just big like her brother! (diabetes babies have smaller heads and shorter legs with big bellies). So they are saying she weighs about 5 pounds 10 oz.

For those of you keeping score, this means she'll be pretty big when she comes out at 37 weeks! They are taking her out early due to what happened last time with Landon. So even though I am 34 weeks I have 3 weeks to go! I am relieved about that!

The 3D Ultrasound is still not worth the money, but one of the pictures I swear she looks like me! It's only fair because Landon looks so much like hubby!

We are busy setting up house for Miss Coco. I will post about all preparations!!!

In the mean time question: What should I bring home baby in? Remember last time we brought Landon home after months!!! What do you bring a newborn home in? A dress? Let me know! I know it will be pink whatever it is!!!!

Wow! When you are at this late stage it must be a nice suprise that Coco's arrival is just around the corner! It is so exicting packing the hospital bag - am so excited FOR you! The hospital gown was a great present. I gave birth in a really cool kaftan adn it made me feel so much better! So did having a full fake tan, mani-pedi and a bag with me containing chanel body cream and truffles! All these little luxuries boost the spirits! Looking forward to seeing pics of Coco's room! Take care! )XO

I can't believe you only have 3 weeks left! I feel like your pregnancy FLEW by! I can't wait to see pictures of your gorgeous little girl!

If I have a daughter in warmer weather, I would totally bring her home in a girly pink dress and one of those headbands with a huge bow on it!

I love your outfit in that picture! So cute! :)

You look fabulous. I love the black and white dress! I brought both of my girls home in my old Feltman Brothers dresses. Feltman still makes beautiful things. Pixie Lilly and Kissy Kissy make beautiful ultra soft things too. Their daygowns are to die for! Yes, the dresses are bishops. Smocked bishops are my favorite! I love them long with a huge bow in the hair! Baby M's is a 3 mos. I don't know if they make them any smaller. (She weighs about 9.5 lbs now). I have my favorite boutiques here - one has incredible sales - often 70 percent off! The Princess will only wear dresses (without a fight) so, I buy most of her things from this store. Some online stores I love are www.bestdressedchild.com and www.bumbleboutique.com. Bumble Boutique is owned by Melissa. She is super sweet and has great customer service. She has good sales too! I just did a trunk show for her. Coco is sure to be dressed super cute if she wants to keep up with her big brother! If I had a boy, I would dress him just like Landon!

wow, she will be here before you know it! I brought my daughter home in a long white smocked gown. She slept the whole time and we were able to get beautiful pictures of her in her gown. Can't wait to see pictures!

Wow, times flies, huh? :)
I've seen adorable, super-soft cotton gowns that have either elastic or drawstring at the bottom, that you can monogram. Kind of like little potato sacks! :)

You look so good! Such a classy lady you are. I had cute outfits to take both my babies home in each time, but it was so hot when my daughter was born, we ended up just putting her in a onesie :-( and then when my son was born, it was so cold that we had to put him in a sleeper and bundle him up. I did not take weather in to account when I was deciding on outfits! A pink dress would be adorable though.

No matter how tiny what you buy to bring her home in, she will be swimming in it! That always seems to be the case--you think "how could she possibly be so tiny?"

It was winter/early spring for all but J3, so mine wore sleepers. Sorry, no help. But wow, three weeks!

We brought our sweet mady home in a simple purple one piece outfit. My favorite lady in the whole world gave it to us and that is why we went with it. It may not have been the prettiest outfit, but it was to us because of who it came from. Now the boys were preemies so they came home in whatever fit :)

I can't believe you only have 3 weeks left. That is awesome!!!

I measured 3 weeks ahead with #2 so they induced me 2 weeks early (since #1 weighed almost 9 lbs).

Wow time flew by. I personally vote for a dress because I know that if I had a girl I would be dying to put her in a little dress after all the boy things!! I am sure no matter what you choose she will look adorable!

I have to join the choir and say how beautiful you look!!! And I love those loafers on Landon - do we still call them loafers??? He just looks so cute!!!

My babies all came home in sweet little daygowns, like the ones ilovepink described. In my opinion simpler is better because babies are so beautiful unadorned! I kept my children in day gowns for about 3 months because they look so sweet in them and babies are newborns for such a brief period of time. Gowns are also really easy for diaper changes, and babies love to kick their legs freely.

I'm so excited for you! Expecting a baby is such a magical time. Enjoy!

That picture of you and Landon is soooo cute!! I think a little pink dress would be the perfect coming home outfit. A good friend of mine recently had a little girl - she had a teeny purse and shoes that matched her going home outfit. Girls are so much fun!!
