Here's what I am putting on Facebook this morning:

"Flying in a dirty tin can for four hours with a screaming baby and a whiney 3 year old does not make a Happy Thanksgiving."

Yes my perfect children put me right on the edge. Over the edge. Forget it, I went down into a ravine ad never came out. Poor Coco was having ear pressure issues. She NEVER cries and ended up crying and NOT SLEEPING through the whole flight.

Landon is in a very whiney phase and cannot make his mind up about anything. We put on the Cars movie? Five minutes later he wants Mary Poppins. Ten minutes later he wants Nemo. Whine. Whine. Whine.

To top it off, our flight on American to LA from Nashville was the last flight out. You know what that means. The plane had been used 100 times before that day and the supposed "cleaners" had not cleaned the bathroom at all. You try squeezing yourself in a dirty bathroom with a three year old and having him NOT touch the disgusting surfaces. Don't get me started on the floor of the bathroom. OMG.

More on Nashville later when I am in a better mood!
PS The Count Down continues! Eight days until TT!

Seriously, what is it about public toilets that everybody misses? It is disgusting. And can airplane bathrooms get any smaller? It is almost impossible not to touch the surfaces but still can't get it in the toilet. YUCK!

That IS rough! Flying with kids does seem to take the fun out of flying :)

That sounds awful!

I'm scared to death of flying and need to take meds before boarding the plane that knock me out and make me not care about anything! I feel really sorry for my husband when we have children and have to fly somewhere! :P

I am not a fan of flying with my boys. We drove to FL last Spring Break and it was so much less stressful. My oldest two are at the age where they are fine, but Cooper is 4 and way too much of a wildcard. I think we have flown three times with them being young and it went OK, but still it's hard. Can't wait to hear about your Thanksgiving.

I am sorry that your trip back was not a good one. I hate airplane restrooms. The last time we flew my son was newly potty trained and we knew that we might not be able to get him to the restroom in time so we put a pull up on him for the plane ride. About 3/4 of the way into the flight he needed to go to the bathroom...I took him to the bathroom and he refused to go in because it smelled bad...he put up one of the biggest fits...he was loud and everybody was looking at us. I was so embarassed! We were finally able to convince him to potty in his pull up.

When child #1 was 4 years old I braved the flight from LAX to Atl all by myself. Mistake #1. Learned very quickly how important SWEET airline stewards were Mistake #2. Having a nice glass of wine after trip completed BEST THING I DID PERIOD!!
